30 HNV members attend Paul's Birthday Party and Go-Cart Racing!
We had 19 racers including many wives trying it out for the first time! The women held there own with about half the final championship group being women.
Once again there is a lot of tough competition and hard racing.
The overall winner was Mikko, followed by JR and Willie.
After the racing it was time for some lunch, trash talk and cake!

Pre-Xmas Spirit Run!
Over twenty four members of Hot Nevada Vettes started off with some Mexican food and laughs at Viva Michoacan then we headed over to Ethel M's for the Chocolate factor tour and some free candy. Following that we caravaned over to the Gift of Lights to support local charities and to check out the lights. Click Here to see some of the pictures from that evening.

Death Valley run was a lot of FUN!
Nine cars and plus one Porsche SUV for a total of 20 HNV members attended. We started off by driving to Beatty and doing a little shopping at the Candy Store then a brisk run to Scotty's castle.
Most of the members took tours of the castles.
Steve and Karen hiked up to Scotty's grave and took this picture. See all the Corvettes in the top left corner!
After Scotty's castle we did a brisk run to Furnace Creek and did a tour of the museum there.
A group of us spent the night in Beatty and were "entertained" by the casino "band". They didn't seem to want requests from our group but we had a good time. Would it be a HNV event without jello shots for desert???? The following day we started out with a trip to Rhyolite ghost town.
Then we did a stop at Bad Water.
After that we really can't talk about it but it was a lot of fun! We got to Shoshone VERY quickly for lunch. To see the first batch of pictures Click Here! |
